Angelica Tavella
Angelica Tavella is an Italian-American musician, design technologist, and electronic artist.
After moving from northern Italy to the San Francisco Bay Area as a child, she spent her time composing music and experimenting with sound. At 17, she enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley, where she studied copyright law and digital technology. During her studies, she created the quarterly music festivalĀ Oakland Drops Beats, and co-founded OIM Records.
Since 2014 Tavella has focused on designing and building electronic tools for music-making, composing, touring and releasing records with the band TV Heads, and under her own moniker, Tavella. She currently lives in Berlin and designs electronic music hardware for AbletonĀ .
